Argentina JUST PASSED a groundbreaking gender identity bill!!!
From now on, people will be able to change the name and gender on their ID without needing psychiatric permission or any body modifications. Furthermore, anyone who does want hormones or surgery will be able to access them for free through the public and private health system.
It was passed unanimously today by the Senate :-D

  3. You may think that an incarnated individual has much more to worry about than whether or not someone refers to them as “him” or “her.” But for many people currently in our prisons, this distinction is very sensitive—and often is a matter of their safety.

    Today’s group offers free legal services to around 100 incarcerated people a year, and responds to letters daily.

    Their lawyers will address questions and concerns from prisoners across the country, but they will also visit clients in person—an act that is needed and appreciated for an individual who is so segregated and vulnerable in their surroundings.
